Minimum requirements for graduates or students of the final year of secondary school, colleges, UK Foundation program and graduates of A-level program

Minimum requirements for the winners of the International or/and Republican Subject Olympiads
As a winner/ prize-winner of the International Subject Olympiads awarded by gold, silver and bronze medals for the last three years and Republican Olympiad winners/ prize-winners awarded by gold and silver medals for the current academic year, candidates have to meet the following requirements:

- Notarized copy of passport or national ID, or birth certificate for applicants under the age of 16.
- Notarized copy of secondary school certificate (Attestat) with final academic performance records or its foreign equivalent.
- Valid official IELTS or TOEFL certificate* or its electronic version with obligation to submit a hard copy of the official certificate in due time.
- Personal Statement in English.
- Signed Applicant/Student Consent Form on Personal Data Processing.
- Valid official certificate of SAT Reasoning Test with essay or ACT with Writing Results (no more than 2 years at the time of online application). The hard copy of SAT Reasoning Test certificate* must be ordered via the website www.collegeboard.org or ACT* (www.act.org) to the address: Admissions Department, 53 Kabanbay Batyr Ave., 010000, Nur-Sultan city.
- Medical certificate (form 086-У)* with the chest X-Ray image* and vaccination record or passport (form 063-У)*.
- Copies of certificates of achievements, letters of recognition and awards received for the last 3 years during the study and other documents confirming Applicants’ personal achievements, if available;
- One 3х4 size photo*.
- International or/and Republican Olympiad winners have to provide the notarized copy of Diploma/certificate of International Olympiad
- Foreign citizens or stateless individuals need to provide a copy of the insurance policy on health insurance valid for the entire study term.
- Students, who completed at least one year of undergraduate program at higher education institution, have to provide:
- a) the official transcript from the University attended in original language and English or academic reports with provisional scores acknowledged by the University and obligation to submit a hard copy of the official certificate in due time.
- b) Course description of studied courses/subjects in both English and original languages
- c) Two academic reference letters in English
- All hard copies of the required documents must be provided only upon the request of the Admissions Department.
- The applicant’s personal file must be submitted in a plastic folder (the first sheet is transparent).
- The signature should be on each page of the Application form, in the lower right corner of the page.
- A photo 3×4 should be glued in the upper right corner of the first page of the Application form.
- Each document must be laid out strictly in the order specified in the List of documents for candidates.
- All documents submitted to Nazarbayev University are not subject to return.
- If the applicant can not submit the documents personally, it is necessary to issue a power of attorney for another person who will submit documents to Nazarbayev University on behalf of the applicant. He must provide a power of attorney along with a copy of his national Identity Card. Otherwise, the documents will not be considered.
