PhD in Global Health
Nazarbayev University School of Medicine (NUSOM) is pleased to announce the opening of the PhD in Global Health program. Our PhD in Global Health program combines intensive coursework with in-depth exploration of advanced research methodology to develop scholars and independent researchers in the field of Global Health. It is a full-time four-year program.
Graduates of the NUSOM PhD in Global Health program will be expected to act as key players in public health in Kazakhstan, Central Asia and in the global arena.
The four-year PhD in Global Health program is structured in such a way that during the course of the program, practical research is the focal point in the form of a PhD Dissertation. This is accompanied by a variety of different courses. Additionally, students will present the advancement of their work at NUSOM Seminar.
