Dr.Massimo Pignatelli attended the Global Innovation Forum 2022 in Bethesda, USA
On May 1 – 3, 2022, the Vice-President for Medicine – Dean of the School of Medicine of Nazarbayev University, Dr. Massimo Pignatelli attended the Global Innovation Forum 2022 (GIF) in Bethesda, USA.
The GIF is the annual meeting of the Association of the Academic Health Science Centers (AAHC), a non-profit organization based in Washington DC, USA. Its mission is to improve the health and well-being of the population through the integration of patient care, education, and research.
Nazarbayev University School of Medicine is a full member of the AAHC-International (AAHC-I). Professor Pignatelli is currently the Chairman of the AAHC-I Steering Committee and a Member of the Alliance Steering Committee. During the meeting, Professor Pignatelli contributed to the sessions on re-building public health after COVID pandemics and how extended periods of crisis can advance medical education and stimulate progress in Academic Health Centers worldwide.
